Many people who try Internet Marketing fail and quit the majority of the time. Whether it be by inexperience, lack of funds, or lack of interest, the failure is usually caused by the same thing, the person's mindset. When people get into Internet marketing the most common mindsets are the following:

1. They think it's a scam of some sort and feel they have nothing to lose and try it anyways.

2. They think they are going to get rich quick and see instant results.

Getting into Internet marketing with these mindsets is the one of the biggest mistakes you can make starting out.

The first mindset is obvious why it's a failure. When you go into an online business with a pessimistic attitude, you get what you paid for. These people usually end up being resentful and start bashing the idea of Internet marketing, like making money online is a hoax. This is far from the truth. Now I'm not saying that there aren't Internet scams out there. Unfortunately they do exist, but there are also many informative, Grade A products out there that do have the average Juan's interest in mind in terms of making money online. In short, if you go into an Internet business with a bad attitude, you're going to get bad results.

The second mindset is the "get rich quick" mindset. These people get scammed the most. They think that buying a program with little work effort actually exist. In this case, this is a myth. Most people with this mindset tend to think the products they buy will provide quick results. But then they find out it takes more work than they initially thought. They cut their losses and buy the next big money making program. This becomes a vicious circle, when ironically the products they bought the first time tend to be good solid money-makers.

Now let’s break down the myths of Internet Marketing and any other online income opportunities that exist right now:

-You'll get rich quick
-Your product will work with just a push of a button
-You can make money online for free (time included)
-Your results are instant

Now here is the truth:

-You will initially have to invest in your business whether it be time or money
-You are going to fail at some point or another
-You won't get rich quick (unless you win the lottery)
-Your results in most cases won't be instant
-You are going to get frustrated

Now that you know the truth, you can mentally prepare yourself for the right mindset. Jumping in this industry you should treat this like any other job. You should think of this as an investment. Internet Marketing is a momentum game. It's only tough in the beginning. But if you can stick to your guns and not give up; learn and adapt to the game, you will reap the rewards that these products advertise. All you have to do is get the ball rolling. Once you gain the necessary knowledge and find out what works for you, everything else will come naturally. Remember don't give up and actually utilize all the tools and research on what your products have to offer. With that you will succeed.
